Up beat foot tapping poppy little tune driven by fun poetic lyrics over alt pop guitar riffs. One friend said it reminded him of Fleetwood Mac.
All alone. My love is a plane ride away for a work conference. The living room is dark except for the light of the moon peeking thru the bare winter sleeping trees. Shining its light into my darkness. I have a guitar in hand and thru my fingers off the strings a little melodic lick sings into the night. I grab my little recorder to capture it. Then one day far in the future , now the past, I discover it again and blossom this tune from that tiny seed of a song.
lyrics
Peeking Moon. How do you do. I see you.
Sharing light. From that sun so bright. Giving life.
On the other side of the world.
I'm alone. So are you. Peeking Moon.
Dont be Blue. I'll stay here with you.
Maybe we can keep each other company tonight.
Bathing in your moonlight inspires me to write a song.
Im gonna make it groovy, Keep it tight, To the point but not too long.
I know its been a little while
And my babe shes gone a many miles
I hope shes gazing up at you , Peeking Moon
Marcus you told me they'll be days like this.
Stoic is the heart that does not resist.
Living in the moment that nature has intended.
Bathing in your moonlight inspires me to write a song.
I'm gonna make it groovy, Keep it tight, To the point but not too long.
Bathing in your moonlight inspires me to write a song.
Im gonna make it groovy, Keep it tight, To the point but not too long.
Bathing in your moonlight inspires me.
